Saw car in 1989. Fell in love. No way I could afford. Got married. Could afford nice car. Bought '99GSX new. Wife divorced me for co-worker. Couldn't afford 2 payments ('94 Legend 6 speed). Wife took car, stock option(Webvan) gave me house. Refinanced house to get her name off. Took equity sold Acura, and bought Z from honest sounding guy in NC having never seen nor driven. Webvan went under... No more stock option, no job for year (boyfriend made payments) so she still has MY car. But I really think I came out much better in the deal. I still have house, which will be remodeled this summer, and I have my Z which is far faster and better looking. Oh, and I got "her" MR2.
